St. Vincent de Paul Society at work in our parish

The St. Vincent de Paul Society is a Catholic lay organization which leads women and men to join together to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to those who are needy and suffering in the tradition of its founder, Blessed Frédéric Ozanam, and patron, St. Vincent de Paul. The chapter in our parish meets every Tuesday evening. Contact Jim Murray at 708-366-8427 if you would like to join this group.
Our SVDP Chapter provides a food pantry at St. Bernardine's Rectory. Some medical supplies (e.g. walkers, walking canes, wheel chairs) are available on a limited basis. The food pantry is open on Saturday mornings between 9:00 and 11:00 am.
If you would like to contribute food, medical supplies, or cash to SVDP, this would be a great time to drop these items off. (Due to COVID-19, we request each visitor wear a face mask and wash your hands before coming to the food pantry.

Our St. Bernardine Conference of St. Vincent de Paul thanks all those who continue to contribute to our efforts.
We also encourages people to get involved. Members meet every Tuesday evening (now virtually). Inquiries about membership are welcome. One does not need to be a member to volunteer to help SVDP wants to continue serving our local community, as it has done weekly since 1931. If you are aware of anyone in need of assistance -- such as food, bills, limited medical supplies (wheelchairs, walkers, etc.) -- please contact Jim Murray at 708-366-8427.
Thank You!
