Confirmation
Confirmation is where the Holy Spirit makes our faith in Christ stronger. The Holy Spirit helps us share the good News of Jesus. Confirmation is a special grace by which our faith is deepened and strengthened, so that it will be strong enough not only for our own needs but for the needs of others with whom we shall try to share it.
Young people entering the 8th Grade are eligible to prepare for this sacrament through our Religious Education program. The Archdiocese has periodic preparation sessions for adults who just need the sacrament of Confirmation. All other older individuals who wish to receive this or all of the sacraments of initiation into the Catholic Church are directed to the RCIA process.
