During the Covid 19 crisis we will be live streaming mass Monday through Thursday at 6:30 am, Saturday at 5:00 pm and Sunday at 8:00 and 10:30 am.

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE
- Make your reservation online through the link above or through Sign-Up Genius. Email st.bernardinechurch@gmail.com if you would like to be added to the email distribution list for the weekly enrollment on SignUpGenius. The list is used to send the link to SignUpGenius for you to select the mass of your choice.
- Online reservations must be complete by noon on Fridays for weekend Masses to ensure your name is on our check-in list for the mass.
- If you do not have access to the internet, please call Parish Office at 1-708-366-0839 on Monday thru Friday between 8:00am - 1:00pm to make your reservation.
- Walk-ins are welcomed, as space permits. If you do not have a reservation, you must provide your contact information to the greeters.
- Check your temperature, if you have a fever and/or do not feel well, please do not come to church.
- Please bring a Face Covering.
- Enter only through the main church doors on Elgin Ave.
- Please keep your face covering or mask on at all times (you will receive instructions during the service if receiving Communion).
- A greeter will welcome you and check you in. In order to assist health officials if needed, we will keep a list of attendees (name and contact information) for four weeks after which the list will be destroyed.
- The usher will sanitize your hands or you can use the self-sanitizing station in the vestibule.
- Please observe social distancing (6 feet) at all times.
- Ushers will direct you to pews with markings on where to sit. You may sit next to those with whom you are domiciled if they arrive with you. You are not able to choose your seat or change your seat once seated.
- Masks must be worn the entire time you are in the church.
- Please note that worship aids/hymnals are not available, as congregational singing is not permitted at this time. All are welcome to hum along to the songs/hymns as lead by the cantor!
- If you need to leave your seat during the service (other than Communion) please do not stand in areas that cannot accommodate social distancing.
- No physical Sign of Peace can be exchanged between those with whom you are not domiciled (but feel free to offer a nod or a friendly wave as a Sign of Peace!).
- Follow instructions for the reception of Communion, which the Presider will explain.
- An usher will let you know when to leave your seat in order to maintain social distancing.
- If you are not going to receive Communion, please cross your arms over your chest and bow your head when approaching the Presider or Minister of Communion.
- When 6 feet (1 person away) from the presider, sanitize your hands using the sanitizer from the usher. After sanitizing, do not touch any surfaces.
- You will be dismissed pew by pew to preserve social distancing in the aisles. Please follow the instructions of the usher.
- Deposit your offering offering in the box provided by the exit doors.
- Please use only the designated exit doors.
- Do not congregate immediately outside the church doors.
- Please be mindful of wearing your face covering inside and outside in accordance with state guidelines.
